Two New Fellows Join Research Team

We offer a warm welcome to two new Parasol Foundation Research Fellows. As part of our commitment to enable more women to pursue successful careers in research and STEM fields, Dr Shriya Varghese and Dr Selina Chiu pictured have joined the ovarian cancer research team. It is now a nine-strong team, working together and focused on understanding this lethal disease better, developing innovative new biomarkers and treatments and bringing hope to thousands of women.

Dr Paula Cunnea says: “The power of a team led by women, researching women’s cancer cannot be under-estimated. I am proud to lead this team with Professor Christina Fotopoulou. We are profoundly grateful to The Parasol Foundation for their support so more women we hope will see there is a bright future working in scientific and clinical research”.
